Kanti is a city and a notified area in Muzaffarpur district in the Indian state of Bihar.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Kanti had a population of 20,873. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Kanti has an average literacy rate of 48%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 57%, and female literacy is 38%. In Kanti, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
