Karl-Heinz Scholtyssek is a retired german Ambassador.
- In 1959 he entered the foreign service.
- His foreign destinations were: Algiers, Madrid, Sydney, Wellington, Hong Kong, Athens and Rio de Janeiro.
- From 1981 to 1986 he had Exequatur as consul general in Melbourne.
- From 1986 to 1989 he was employed in the de:Presse- und Informationsamt der Bundesregierung.
- From 1989 to 1993 he was Ambassador in Dhaka (Bangladesh).
- From 1993 to 1996 he was Ambassador in Kathmandu (Nepal) with coacredition to Oman[1]
