Koek n Jam is the debut album by Namibian kwaito star Qonja. The album was released on his own label Lowkey Records. It features his two successful hits 54321 and Koek n Jam which he recorded with his friend and label mate (at the time) Mappz. The album features production from Fredro and Christian Poloni. Guests on the album include Mappz, R&B singer African Boy, House Melody Kiddz, and hardcore kwaito artist Legg Ghetto.
The album helped establish Qonja as a lyrical artist. Its structured was similar to Sunny Boy’s Young, Black en Gifted in the way that they both use the fusion of kwaito and hip hop, which Sunny Boy calls Hikwa. Both Gazza and The Dogg were impressed by the album, and went on to associate and work with Qonja.
This album became a big influence to artist such as Kavax, Exit & Mushe many others who released albums similar to this one.
