Kousali Institute of Management Studies

Kousali Institute of Management Studies (KIMS) was established in the year 1976 as the Department of Management Studies of Karnatak University at Dharwad. The institute was named so in recognition of the contribution of Dr. Thammappa Kousali.

The institute has ceaselessly strived to produce Professionals with Erudition backed by high moral and ethical values.

KIMS as a learning community is a “Family” where participation, teamwork, interdependence and communication prevail. This culture of appreciation, which builds up our community, encourages us towards excellence and professionalism.

KIMS offers Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) –2-year full-time course affiliated to Karnatak University. The course offers various specializations like Finance, Marketing and Human Resources. Intake for the MBA course is 60 students.

KIMS offers a Ph.D. program also for students aspiring to undertake research in their area of specialization/interest. Intake is 16 students.
