Kvåsefjorden
Coordinates: 58°7′29.510″N 8°11′31.906″E / 58.12486389°N 8.19219611°E Kvåsefjorden is an approximately 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) long fjord which forms the outer county boundary between Aust-Agder and Vest-Agder, Norway. It also forms part of the border between the municipalities of Lillesand and Kristiansand.[1] Fjord inlet of the Skagerrak is at Meholmen near Ulvøysund, which is considered as the western starting point of Blindleia. Blindleia is the inner shipping route along the coast of Lillesand and runs mainly north and inland.
The smaller fjord Isefjærfjorden has its inlet from Kvåsefjorden.
Kvåsefjorden can sometimes be harsh and difficult to cross with small boats, because Skagerrak is unprotected of an archipelago, unlike in Blindleia.[2]
