LaKendra Tookes is an American comedian and writer.[1][2][3]
In December 2013, Saturday Night Live held a casting call to add at least one African-American female to the show and comedian Sasheer Zamata was hired as a performer and Leslie Jones and LaKendra Tookes were hired as writers.[4]
Tookes is also an actress and has appeared on such television series as Red Oaks and Friends of the People.
