Lake Shawnee is a small lake located in Jefferson Township, New Jersey, United States. It's outsource is the Beaver Brook, which flows into Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey's largest lake.
As of 2016, there is a push to remove the Wharton mailing address designation used by Lake Shawnee residents, and change it to a Lake Hopatcong mailing address.[1]
