Leon Vynehall is a British producer and DJ. He produces house, deep house and downtempo. His album Music for the Uninvited was released to critical acclaim in March 2014.

Biography

After becoming a resident DJ at Akaakaroar, a Brighton club, Vynehall released several EP's on labels such as Well Rounded Housing Project and Aus. As a result of his productions, he quickly became an in-demand DJ.[1] His debut full-length album, Music for the Uninvited, garnered widespread praise and landed on several year-end lists in publications such as NPR Music, XLR8R, and The Washington Post. His second album, Rojus, which was released in 2016, also received positive reviews.[2] Vynehall now resides in the outskirts of Leicester.[3]

Vynehall's music combines the "percussive energy of contemporary House music" with "rich harmonies of sample-centric producers".[4] Vynehall lists Aphex Twin, Afrika Bambaataa, Man Parrish and DJ Shadow as some of his major influences.[5]
