- Pajsije I Janjevac (1542 – November 2, 1647), Serbian Patriarch 1614-1647[1]
- Beta Vukanović (April 18, 1872 – October 31, 1972), painter[2]
- Black Mike Winage (14 March 1870 – 15 March 1977), Serbian-born Canadian gold miner[3]
- Jovo Mijatović (1886 – 1986), herbalist
- Aleksa Radovanović (1900 – 2004), soldier in World War I (Kingdom of Serbia), World War II (Yugoslav Partisans) and President of "Serbian soldiers 1912-1920"[4]
- Jeremija D. Mitrović (August 15, 1910 – October 29, 2011), historian and professor
