List of best-selling albums in Chile
This is a list of best-selling Chilean albums. The best-selling album in Chile is En estos días (In those days) by Illapu with sales of 175,000 copies. It was the highest selling album of Chilean artist, but the highest certified album by a Chilean singer is Mexico Lindo y Querido by María José Quintanilla with eight times platinum and sales of 160,000 copies. The artist with the most entries is Mexican singer Marco Antonio Solís with three, followed by Chilean singer Américo with two.
Until early 2000s, gold and platinum awards in Chile was 15,000 and 25,000 copies, respectively. In 2003, the sales requirements was reduced to 10,000 and 20,000 copies.
