Lorenzo Guerini (born 21 November 1966) is an Italian politician, member of the Democratic Party. On 9 December 2013 he was nominated by the new Secretary Matteo Renzi, spokesperson of the party and on 28 March 2014, Vice-Secretary along with Debora Serracchiani.
Biography
Guerini joined Christian Democracy in 1980s and then he became a member of the Italian People's Party in 1994.[1]
In 1995 he was elected President of the Province of Lodi and after ten years, in 2005 he became the mayor of Lodi with 54.1% of votes.[2]
After 2013 general election Guerini was elected in the Chamber of Deputies. On 9 December 2013 he was nominated spokesman of the Democratic Party and few months later Vice-Secretary of the party.
