Lori Bizzoco

Lori Bizzoco is a writer, journalist, former public relations executive and is currently the founder and executive editor of CupidsPulse.com, a relationship advice and entertainment news website.

Early life and career

Lori Bizzoco earned a Master of Science in advertising from the New York Institute of Technology. During her early career, Lori worked as a senior American public relations executive for the next 15 years, integrating her gift of gab and skillful words to publicize both people and products. She also held positions including Director at Burston-Marsteller, where she focused primarily on celebrity-related public relations. Bizzoco has also worked for the public relations firm Porter Novelli and Edelman during her tenure. In March 2006, Bizzoco joined public relations firm Manning Selvage and Lee (MS&L) as Senior Vice President.[1] As a professional writer on dating and relationship advice, Bizzoco's pieces were regularly featured on dating sites such as Match.com,[2] SingleEdition.com, JDate,[3] SeniorPeopleMeet.com, LoveandSeek.com. She was also the online entertainment editor for Pomp & Circumstance, where she oversaw two celebrity-based columns.

In 2010, Lori merged her passion for relationship writing with her background in the entertainment industry and launched CupidsPulse.com, a one-of-a-kind relationship site that analyzed trending celebrity news to provide relatable love advice for singles and couples.

Writing

Bizzoco's writing has been featured on a variety of publications both in print and online. She is a frequent writer for the Yahoo Contributor Network, where she ranks among the top writers in the community[4] as well as other sites including Gotham Gal.[5]

Appearances and media

Lori has been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, Redbook,[6] Woman's Day,[7] Working Mother,[8] WebMD,[9] AOL, and Fox News.[10] She was also featured in the book, No Excuses: 9 Ways Women Can Change How We Think about Power by Gloria Feldt,[11] and Cheat on Your Husband (With Your Husband), by Andrea Syrtash.[12] In 2013, as part of a cross-promotion with CupidsPulse and Match.com, she interviewed Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger. Bizzoco has also interviewed on a Forbes piece "10 Phrases You Use That Are Killing Your Business."[13]

Public speaking

Bizzoco was a panelist during Social Media Week,[14] a presenter at the Single in Stilettos events in New York City,[15] and was invited by Bloomingdale's flagship store in New York to help launch Benefit Cosmetics' "Finding Mr. Bright" Cosmetics Kit.[16] Lori was also one of five bloggers selected to participate in an episode of Celebrity Apprentice.

Cupid's Pulse

In November 2010, Bizzoco launched a dating and relationship website called CupidsPulse.[17] Cupid's Pulse also features reviews, Author Q&A's, as well as articles written by various experts in the field.[18] Cupid's Pulse participated in a variety of events including the Dating With Dignity event in partnership with eHarmony[19] and interviewing Patti Stanger as part of Match.com's Singles in America 2014 event.[20]
