Louisa Motha

Louisa Motha is the co-ordinator of the Abahlali baseMjondolo movement.[1] She lives in the Motala Heights shack settlement in Pinetown near the city of Durban in South Africa[2][3]

She is particularly well known for organising against evictions[4] and was a strong critic of the Slums Act.[5]
