Lynch Hill School Primary Academy[1] is an 'Outstanding'[2] Ofsted-accredited school based in the parish of Britwell, Slough. The school is non-selective and takes in students between the ages of 3 and 11 years old.
On 13 July 2012, Lynch Hill’s bid to open a new Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy[3] (free school)— to extend the current education provision into Key Stage 3 and 4—was one of the 102 successful free school bids announced by the coalition Government. The new Academy officially opened in September 2014.
Lynch Hill operates under the jurisdiction of Executive Headteacher Gillian Coffey. Mrs Coffey was appointed an OBE (Order of the British Empire) for 'Services To Education' in 2010.[4]
