M.T.Ramesh (born 1972, Calicut) is one of the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kerala. His father is Thundiyil Krishnan Gurukkal.^[1] He unsuccessfully stood as a candidate for BJP in Kozhikode for the 2004 Lok Sabha Elections, receiving close to 13% of the vote (one of the best performances ever by BJP in Malabar region).^[2]^[3] Currently he holds the post of State General Secretary of BJP in Kerala.^[4]^[5]

M. T. Ramesh contested Lok Sabha Elections 2014 from Pathanamthitta Lok Sabha constituency and increased voting percentage of BJP to 15.98 from 7.06 ^[6]
