Maaveeran (English : Great Warrior) is a 1986 Tamil film directed by Rajasekhar. Ambika appeared in a glamorous role alongside Rajinikanth. She first comes across as a rude princess, who later falls in love with him. The movie is a remake of Mard.
The film released to positive reviews and was a hit at the box office.
