Manjula Anagani is an Indian gynecologist and obstetrician specializing in minimally invasive surgeries.[1] She is credited with innovations in minimally invasive surgeries on neo-vagina formation, primary amenorrhoea and a stem cell procedure for endometrial regeneration.[1][2] graduated from Gandhi Medical College Anagani is from the South Indian state of Telangana and secured her MD from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad.[2] Later she underwent higher training in prenatal genetic evaluation, infertility, ultrasonography and minimally invasive procedures such as Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy.[2] She worked at Care Hospital from 2004 to 2011 and, thereafter, at Beams Hospitals from 2011 to 2014[2] when she joined the Sunshine Super Specialty Institute, Hyderabad where she is the Head of the Department, Chief Gynaecologist, Obstetrician, Infertility Specialist and Laparoscopic Surgeon.[3] She has reportedly performed over 10,000 laparoscopic surgeries[2] and has founded Suyosha (The Perfect Woman]], a non governmental organization addressing the medical needs of women and girls.[4] She was honoured by the Government of India in 2015 with Padma Shri, the fourth highest Indian civilian award.[5]

Manjula received the prestigious Indian Affairs Indian of the Year 2016 – Medicine (Obs and Gynae) in Mumbai at Satya Brahma founded India Leadership Conclave 2016. [6]
