Mariam Al Maadeed

Mariam Al Maadeed (Arabic: المعاضيد), also AlMa'adeed,[1] is a Qatari national and a Professor in Physics and Materials Science at Qatar University.[1][2][3][4][5][6] She was the Director of the Center for Advanced Materials (CAM),[5] and also founder of the Masters program of Materials Science and Technology, both at Qatar University.[7] Al Madeed's research is in the field of polymer characterization and structure, nanocomposites and nanotechnology techniques, and her work is featured in more than 80 journals and conference publication.[1] She was a leading member of Al-Bairaq (Arabic: البيرق) team,[7][8] which won a WISE Award in 2015.[7]
