Marianne Werner, née Schulze Entrup, later Ader (born 4 January 1924),[1] is a retired West German athlete who competed mainly in the shot put events. She was born in Dülmen. Werner competed for West Germany at the 1952 Summer Olympics, held in Helsinki, Finland, in the Women's Shot Put, where she won the silver medal. Four years later she returned with the United Team of Germany to Melbourne for the 1956 Summer Olympics where she won the bronze medal one place behind Soviet Galina Zybina for the second Olympics and eventual winner, another Soviet Tamara Tyshkevich.
