Mark Ishii (石井マーク Ishii Mark, born November 21, 1991 in Chiba Prefecture) is a Japanese-Filipino voice actor.He was affiliated with Space Craft Entertainment but changed to Just professional in 2016.[1] He is also the husband of Atsuko Enomoto who is a fellow voice actress and is 12 years older than him.[2] Ishii is well known for his role as Chrono Shindou in the Cardfight!! Vanguard G series.

Early life and education

Ishii is of Japanese-Filipino ethnicity.[3] He lived in the Philippines for four years during his early childhood but returned to Japan for his school education.[4] He was also a member of tennis club when he was in junior high school.During his junior high school days he played the game called .hack//G.U. and became a fan of Takahiro Sakurai which inspired him to become a voice actor.[5][6]After graduating from high school Ishii went to Tokyo announcement Academy where he studied to become a voice actor.,[7][8]

Personal life

On March 6, 2016 he announced that he got married to Atsuko Enomoto who is 12 years older than him. Ishii stated that that the reason that him and Enomoto agreed to get married is that they both share the same interest and a has a lot in common with each other.[12]
