Mark Lovegrove

Mark "Mods" Lovegrove is a British born music composer, game designer & filmmaker from Wallingford, Oxfordshire. He has written music for many independent point & click adventure games since 2000, including many made with Adventure Game Studio & several by the popular writer Ben Croshaw[1] (creator of Zero Punctuation). Lovegrove primarily writes MIDI music for video-games.

In 2003 Mark was awarded an Excellence in Music award for his work on The Adventures Of Fatman.[2] In 2007 he directed a behind-the-scenes documentary of "The Butterfly Tattoo"[3] and interviewed the book's author, Philip Pullman.[4] Lovegrove is the owner of Screen 7, a UK video game publisher.

In 2010 Lovegrove was awarded with the AGS Lifetime Achievement Award.[5] Lovegrove also founded and currently runs AdventureX,[6][7] annual video game exposition in the UK aimed at adventure game developers and players, which has featured special guests Chris Bateman, Dave Gilbert (game designer), Stephen Marley (writer) and Jon Ingold amongst others.
