Maxwell James McCaffrey (born May 17, 1994) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Duke. McCaffrey signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2016.
Professional career
Oakland Raiders
On April 30, 2016, McCaffrey signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent following the conclusion of the 2016 NFL Draft.[1] On August 29, 2016, he was released by the Raiders.[2]
Personal
Max is the son of Ed and Lisa McCaffrey. His younger brother, Christian, is currently a running back and kickoff returner at Stanford. His other younger brother Dylan [3]is committed to Michigan as a 2017 QB. His father Ed McCaffrey, was a wide receiver in the National Football League for thirteen seasons from 1991-2003 where he played for the New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos.[4]
