The Mazda RX-9 is a sports car produced by the Japanese automaker Mazda scheduled for release in 2020. Holiday Auto, a Japanese magazine, reported it will be previewed at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Show, and the final production model will be featured at the same event in 2019.[1] The car will be released in January 2020, to coincide with Mazda's 100th anniversary, and will be initially priced at eight million yen (US$75511 in 2015).[1][2] It is believed it will showcase the return of the Wankel rotary engine.[3]
