Leaf-blades being convolute, and are 11–12 millimetres (0.43–0.47 in) long and 0.7–1 millimetre (0.028–0.039 in) wide. They also have scaberulous surface which is also puberulous and hairy as well. Palea is elliptic and is 3.5 millimetres (0.14 in) long and have 2 veines with puberulous surface. Flowers are growing together and have 3 anthers that are 1.5 millimetres (0.059 in) long with 2 lodicules. Fruits are fusiform and have an additional pericarp.[1]
