"Memories" is a song by the band Weezer. It is the opening track and first single from their 2010 album Hurley [1] and was first released online on August 10, 2010. Music video
The music video for "Memories" debuted on September 9, 2010 on the TV show Jersey Shore.[2] The video was shot on Super 8 cameras and filmed on the locations of the skate video "The Search for Animal Chin".[3] The clip features Weezer playing next to and inside an empty pool while various skateboarders do tricks around them.[3] The video track also features the cast of Jackass on backing vocals, and clips from the movie Jackass 3-D.[2]
Other uses
This song's backing track was also used on Auto-Tune the news #13 featuring the band. It was also used in the ending credits of Jackass 3D. This song was also played at Wembley Stadium when Birmingham City lifted the League Cup trophy. Following the death of Ryan Dunn, and Weezer performing the song as a tribute to him during their following concerts, it has been considered by Jackass fans as Dunn's unofficial tribute song.
