Mia Amber Davis (July 25, 1974 – May 10, 2011) was an American plus-size model and actress, who was best known for her role in the film Road Trip.[1][2] In addition to being a plus-sized model and actress, Davis was also a television producer, magazine editor, motivational speaker and style consultant.
Death
At the age of 36 in Los Angeles, Davis died in 2011 after a knee operation she had to relieve pain from an old basketball injury.[3] An autopsy determined the cause of death was from complications of a pulmonary embolism—a blood clot in the lungs.[4]
