Mitha is a village in Kapurthala district of Punjab State, India. It is located 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) from Kapurthala, which is both district and sub-district headquarters of Mitha. The village is administrated by a sarpanch, an elected representative of the village.[1]
Demography
According to the report published by Census India in 2011, Mitha has total number of 45 houses and population of 209 of which include 106 males and 103 females. Literacy rate of Mitha is 71.82%, lower than state average of 75.84%.
