Mohd Haris Safwan Bin Mohd Kamal (born 22 July 1983) is a Malaysian footballer who currently plays as a forward. Haris Safwan is the former member of Malaysia U-23 team in 2003 until 2005.

Club career

Haris Safwan has played for Johor FC in the 2012 season and scored 4 goals. Throughout his career, Haris has played with several teams including MPPJ FC, Selangor, MyTeam, T-Team and also was playing for Plus FC on loan. He was part of Selangor team that won treble trophy in 2005 season. In 2009, Haris Safwan scored 24 goals for T-Team to win the 2009 Malaysia Premier League Golden Boot.[1]

Kelantan

On 3 December 2012 Haris Safwan was introduced as a new player of Kelantan team by Tan Sri Annuar Musa, President of Kelantan FA. The ceremony was held in The Red Warriors Station @ K.T.C.[2] On 7 December 2012, Haris Safwan scored one goal during his debut for Kelantan in conjunction with pre-season friendly match against Perlis. He headed the ball in after receiving a corner kick pass from Zairo Anuar Zalani minute before the match ended. Match ended Kelantan won 5-0.[3]

International career

He made 5 appearances during 2003 South East Asian Games in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Malaysia grabbed the bronze medal in the tournament after beating Myanmar on penalties 4-2. He also part of silver medalist winner in 2008 ASEAN University Games, held in Kuala Lumpur after being defeated by the team from Thailand.[4][5]
