Musikot Khalanga is a Municipality on 18 May 2014.[1][2] and seat of Rukum District in the Rapti Zone of western Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 13,203 people living in 3,279 individual households.[3]

To Promote local culture Musikot Khalanga has one FM radio station Radio Sani Bheri F.M - 89.2 MHz[4] Which is a Community radio Station.
