Nachural Records
Nachural Records is a British bhangra record label based in Birmingham, West Midlands, England.[1]
Bands who have released music through Nachural or signed a deal with the company include Sona Family[2] and Tigerstyle.[3]
In 2004, the company signed a deal with the Indian arm of Virgin/EMI to license the Indian company's recordings for the European and British markets.[4]
Following the success of "Mundian To Bach Ke", a bhangra song performed by Punjabi artist Labh Janjua and remixed by Panjabi MC, the company signed a number of licensing deals at Midem in 2003.[5]
Ninder Johal is the company's managing director and a tabla player with the band Achanak.
The company is part of Nachural Music Group, which also owns Nachural Corporate Communications, a production company that manages live events and corporate video productions.
