Early life
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Bagg grew up with a love for the arts. At age 17, he hosted a popular talk show called PULSE, then moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA, where he received his BA and then his MFA.[1]
Carrer
Bagg was cast in the play Viva Vittorio at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles and later went to Broadway. He then banded together with a small group of fellow actors who would pose as managers and submit one another on projects. He was so successful at finding work for his friends that he applied for and landed a job in the William Morris agent training program.[2] Neil Bagg was a talent agent for Don Buchwald & Associates for 16 years.[3] He represented Actors for film, TV, theater, and more.[3] He is also known as a producer for The Bitter Buddha (2012), Rome & Jewel (2008) and Pub Quiz[4] He is also well known for Prince of Bel Air (1986).
Personal life
Bagg was married to Jána Howard and had two children.[2] He was diagnosed in the summer of 2012 with ALS also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.[3] He died on February 3, 2014.[3]
