The Nepal Magazine is a weekly national magazine published by Kantipur Media Group in Kathmandu, Nepal.[6] The magazine focuses on national socio-political matters of Nepal, with satirical pieces on current affairs and trends of the country, along with lighter stories of lifestyle and arts.[7]

The magazine was launched as fortnightly magazine established on 2000. Prashant Aryal is the Editor-in-Chief.[8]

History

Nepal Magazine was established in 2000 AD. It has been covering political issues along with photo story, movie review, celebrity gossips and literature.Its two notable annual publication are Plus 2 College Ranking [9] and Person of the year.[4]

Editors

The magazine has been under 5 editors so far, Vijay Kumar Pandey, Tirtha Koirala, Sudheer Sharma (2 tenure),[10] Kishor Nepal and currently Prashant Aryal (Editor-in- chief).[11]
