Eleni (Nitsa) Tsaganea (Greek: Νίτσα Τσαγανέα; 1902 – April 30, 2002) was a Greek actress of theatre and film.
Biography
Tsaganea was born in 1902. She was the second wife of actor Hristos Tsaganeas. In her famous movies were Enas iroas me pantoufles and Oi Germanoi xanarhonte. She was raised poor and her accommodation rent was paid by Dimitris Horn. She died on April 30, 2002 at the age of 100 and she is buried at the Athens First Cemetery, next to her favorite girl, the actress Liana Vitsori.[1]
