Oman made its Paralympic Games début at the 1988 Summer Paralympics in Seoul, with competitors taking part in track and field, table tennis, weightlifting and wheelchair fencing. The country has participated in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics, but has never entered the Winter Paralympics. Its delegations have got smaller over time: from seven athletes in 1988, to four in 1992, three in 1996, one in 2000, two in 2004 and one in 2008. Oman has only ever been represented by male athletes, and none has ever won a medal.[1]
