Oro (lit. Gold) is an upcoming 2016 Filipino film directed by Alvin Yapan, starring Irma Adlawan, Mercedes Cabral, and Joem Bascon.[1] The film is under the production of Feliz Film Productions.[2]
The film is an official entry to the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival.[1][3]
Synopsis
A secluded community depended on mining is disrupted by an armed group who claims to be a representative of the government which causes change to the traditional way of life of the community's residents. The community is led by a woman barangay chairperson who deals with the armed group exploiting their simple and once undisturbed community.
