Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (Tamil: ஒரு கல் ஒரு கண்ணாடி, English: One Stone, One Mirror) is a song from the 2009 Tamil feature film Siva Manasula Sakthi, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and sung by Adnan Sami. This song is picturized on Jeeva and Anuya Bhagvath after having some misunderstanding. The song, with lyrics by Na. Muthukumar and performed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, was released as part of the soundtrack album of the film on 23 January 2009.[1]
A ballad composition,[2] "Oru Kal Oru Kannadi" was a super hit chartbuster song for many months and listed in annual top 10 lists.[3] The song was also reused as "Cheliya" in the Telugu remake of Siva Manasula Sakthi, Shiva Manasulo Shruti. The song's title was then chosen for M. Rajesh's film starring Udhayanidhi Stalin.[4]
