Papuasia

Papuasia is a botanical region defined in the World Geographical Scheme for Recording Plant Distributions (WGSRPD).[1] It lies in the Southwest Pacific Ocean, in the Melanesia ecoregion of Oceania and Tropical Asia.
It comprises the following political entities:
- Aru Islands and West Papua in eastern Indonesia
- Papua New Guinea
- Solomon Islands (excluding the Santa Cruz Islands)[2]
