Paryaṅkāsana

Paryankasana is an Asana. It is translated as Bed or Couch Pose from Sanskrit.

The name of this pose comes from "paryanka" meaning "bed" or "couch", and "asana" meaning "posture" or "seat".[1][2][3][4]

Benefits and Cautions

This pose has the following benefits: stretches front of ankles, stretches the knees, hips, quadriceps (front thighs) and increases spinal flexibility.

Be careful while doing this pose if you have ankle, knee, hip, quadriceps, spinal cord or neck injuries.[1][2][3][4]
