Pat Dwyer is an Irish sportsman who had a successful career as a hurler with Kilkenny and his local club Carrickshock in the 1990s. A strong and reliable full-back, he picked up All-Ireland medals in 1992 and 1993, as well as adding an All-Star medal in 1992.
Hurling career
Pat Dwyer played in five Leinster finals in total (1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1995), winning three medals between 1991 and 1993. The Leinster medals were converted into All-Ireland medals in 1992 and 1993.
Management
Pat Dwyer remained active in hurling following his retirement, and managed his club Carrickshock until 6 February 2009.[1] He still serves as treasurer of the club.
