Peacock & Chinkara Breeding Centre, Jhabua (Hindi: मोर एवं चिंकारा प्रजनन केंद्र, झाबुआ, रेवाड़ी जिला, हरियाणा, भारत) is a protected peacock (Indian peafowl) and chinkara preserve in Jhabua village near Bawal in Rewari district in the Indian state of Haryana. Jhabua is 100 kilometres (62 mi) from Delhi and 70 kilometres (43 mi) from Gurgram.
History
The centre was officially opened on 4 October 2011 by Ch.Om Prakash Choutala,Chief Minister of Forests Department, Haryana. The state government will be providing about Rs.20 crore of funding for the centre over the next 20 years.[1]
