PhDTree

The PhDTree is a web-based database for the academic genealogy of scholars and researchers.[1] As of August, 2015, the database contained information on over 3,500,000 scholars and researchers from more than 60 countries.[2] For a typical scholar, the project entry includes graduation year, alma mater, doctoral advisor, doctoral students, publication list, and title of thesis and dissertation.[3]

PhDTree, the ″Academic Genealogy Wiki″, is a crowd-sourced wiki website. Anyone can create new profiles or edit existing profiles.[4]
