Piombino Dese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northwest of Venice and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Padua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,963 and an area of 29.5 square kilometres (11.4 sq mi).[1]
