Priyasath Dep PC is a Sri Lankan judge and lawyer. He is a sitting judge of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. Prior to his appointment as Puisne Justice of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka he was serving as Solicitor General of Sri Lanka.[1]

Dep was educated at St. Joseph's College, Colombo, where he excelled in studies, athletics, rugby and soccer. Dep obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies at the University of Colombo. He represented the university in rugby and cricket.

Dep won a scholarship by the Dutch Government that enabled him to acquire a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Law at the International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague. He served as Solicitor General of Sri Lanka from 2007 to 2011 before being promoted to Puisne Justice of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.[2]
