Pure Pinball is a pinball simulation video game developed by Iridon Interactive (now Legendo Entertainment) and published in North America by Simon & Schuster for the Microsoft Windows and XS Games for the Xbox, released on May 28, 2003 and August 5, 2004, respectively. The game was published in Europe by Iridon Interactive and distributed by Koch Media in Germany.[1][2]

Gameplay

Pure Pinball features three different themed pinball tables (Trains, Racing and War) each including several flippers and special game modes. The Xbox version includes a 4th, space themed table called HyperSpace. The player can choose any of the 12 different camera settings (for example - ball close-up, ball follow, complete overview and traditional scrolling style). This is possible by the use of real-time 3D graphics. Pure Pinball also features true flipper control featuring a multiball enabled physics engine that calculates the ball's movement in excess of 1500 times per second.[4]
