Qbic Hotels is a design hotel operating in 2 cities.[1] The first hotel opened in the WTC in Amsterdam's Zuidas district, the financial business centre of Amsterdam. In October 2013 Qbic opened a second hotel, Qbic London City in Whitechapel, London.

Concept

Qbic Hotels is a POD Hotel. The rooms resemble rooms from capsule hotels but have the same size as regular hotel rooms.

Qbic Hotels use hotel rooms with a modular concept. Instead of a standard room, each room contains a Cubi. This is a cube-shaped furniture in which all elements of a hotel room are included. There are different versions of the Cubi, each with a different composition.[2]

Qbic Hotels has abandoned the self check in kiosk, in favour of on line check in and the personal touch at reception following extensive consumer feedback
