Raúl Enrique Estévez (born 21 January 1978 in Lomas de Zamora, Argentina) is an Argentine footballer, who plays for Barracas Central.
Nicknamed "El Pipa", Estévez has played for San Lorenzo, Boca Juniors, Colón de Santa Fe and Racing Club in Argentina, Botafogo of Brazil and Universidad de Chile and Unión Española of Chile.
Career
Argentine and Brazil
He started his career in Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro in Argentine, his country.
In 1995, was promoted to the first team and made his debut the same year, in 2001 he was champion with San Lorenzo of Torneo Clausura 2001 and also the Copa Mercosur.
In 2003, he signed for Boca Juniors in this club also won the national tournament and international tournament, Torneo Clausura 2003 and Copa Libertadores.
In 2004, he signed for Botafogo in this club he remained one semester, a midly of this year Estévez was returned to Argentine, in when signed for Colón de Santa Fe in this he remained one year, after signed for Racing Club de Avellaneda in this club he was a key man in the club in the first matches, one year later he arrives to Europe.
Europe
In 2006, Estvéz arrived to Europe, to play for Academica Coimbra in Portugal, however, later for the lack of the opportunities a midly of 2007, Estévez abandoned the club, and stay in the status of Free agent.
Chile
In 2008, Estevéz received the offer of Universidad de Chile and accepted, in the first semester Estévez was not meeting the expectations of the club and was questioned to the second semester, on May 11, Estévez played against O'Higgins in when score two goals, which he aiding him to follow the second semester. In the second semester Estévez made a good tournament, playing all matches and scored six goals, but on December he had problems with the dirigence and was out back to the club.
In 2009, he signed for Unión Española in when had a regular tournament, nearly obtaining the Chilean tournament, in the second semester he scored a goal to Vélez Sarsfield in the Copa Sudamericana.
