Ranch to Market Road 336 (RM 336) is a farm-to-market road, a state maintained road which serves to connect rural and agricultural areas to market towns, in the U.S. state of Texas. The highway travels through Real County, Texas, beginning at an intersection with U.S. Route 83 (US 83) just north of Leakey (near the Real County Rodeo Grounds). The 26.5-mile (42.6 km)[1] road travels north to terminate at an intersection with State Highway 41 (SH 41).
Route description
RM 336 follows the west prong of the Frio River, and has many beautiful views of the Frio Canyon.
The highway has a speed limit of 55 miles per hour (89 km/h) for its entire route.[1]
History
RM 336 was designated on June 11, 1945 from US 83 northward 7.4 miles up the West Frio. On December 17, 1952, RM 336 extended north to SH 41, replacing the 13 mile FM 1434.
