Ranger Districts, and similar places, in American National Forests include:
- Canyon Lakes Ranger District, part of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grassland, specifically on the Roosevelt National Forest
- Leigh Lake Ranger Patrol Cabin, designed and built by the U.S. Forest Service in the 1920s
- Verlot Ranger Station-Public Service Center, a ranger station that also doubles as a visitors center
- Wapiti Ranger Station, the oldest U.S. Forest Service ranger station in the United States
- Warner Valley Ranger Station, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, located in Lassen Volcanic National Park, near Chester, California
