Rasah is a mukim in Seremban District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.

There are various places of worship of many faiths in Rasah. The most prominent one is Rasah Shri Mahamariamman Temple, situated in the foothills near Tuanku Ja'afar Hospital

The notable personality that settled in Rasah was Sheikh Haji Muhammad Saleh (also known as Tuanku Tambusai.He was born in Dalu-dalu a village in Tambusai,Rokan Hulu is a regency (kabupaten) of Riau, Indonesia on 5 November 1784 - died in Rasah,Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia,12 November 1882). Muhammad Saleh is the son an Islamic teacher from Minang homeland in Sumatera Barat. His father came from village called Rambah. His father was appointed by the King of Tambusai as the chief imam and married a local women, called Munah. His mother, Munah came from a village in Tambusai called Kandang Kopuh. He is one of the Islamic leaders for the Padri movement. Tuanku Tambusai, as he was well known in Indonesia was one of the leaders who fought the colonial invaders during the Padri Wars in 1838 along with his contemporaries, Tuanku Imam Bonjol and Tuanku Rao. In 1995 the Government of Indonesia awarded to "Tuanku Tambusai(1784-1882)Islamic leader from Riau who fought against Dutch colonial forces in the Padri War,the 'National Hero of Indonesia (Indonesian: Gelar Pahlawan Nasional Republik Indonesia’ dengan SK. No. 071/TK/Tahun 1995, Tanggal 7 Agustus 1995[3][144] i.e. the highest-level title awarded in Indonesia.[1] It is posthumously given by the Government of Indonesia for actions which are deemed to be heroic – defined as "actual deeds which can be remembered and exemplified for all time by other citizens"[a] – or "extraordinary service furthering the interests of the state and people[3][144] .(His mausoleum in Rasah known as Makam Tok Ungku or Makam Tuanku Tambusai was refurbished and maintained by the Indonesian Government.<National Heroes of Indonesia<[3][144] One of Tuanku Tambusai's descendant, Ali Bin Abdul Latif was the tax collector of the tin mines in Rasah in the early 1900s. His residence was at No.1,Rasah Road, a huge single storey colonial style bungalow set on a hillock overlooking the junction of Dr.Muthu Road-Rasah Road. It was occupied by his children & grandchildren until 1969.
