Rich B
Rich B is a DJ, producer and remixer based in London, UK. He runs the record label Enriched Records.
Biography
Rich B gained international recognition with his first DJ residency at Heaven, London,[1] where he played the main dance floor at The Fruit Machine every Wednesday night from 1993 to 2000.[2][3] He was also resident at the legendary Love Muscle at The Fridge in Brixton, London from 2000 to 2003, Luvely in Edinburgh 1998 to 2002,[4] Sherbet in London 1997 to 2000.[5]
Rich B currently DJs regularly in London, and guests around the world.
He was also resident DJ for UK company Alternative Holidays 1997 to 2003, W Hotel In Doha 2011, Switch Design 2000 to 2002, and RSVP Vacations 2006 and 2011. He also guested regularly from 1997 to 2002 at Paradise Factory and Essential Nightclub in Manchester.
Rich B hosts his "Enriched" Radio Shows on Gaydio, the world's biggest lgbt station, and on Sound Fusion Radio. Formerly Rich presented a Saturday night mix show on Gaydar Radio called Xstatic for 6 years 2001 to 2006.[6]
Early in his career Rich had two UK club chart hits with Carrie On House (1997)[7] which reached number 10 in the Official UK National Dance Chart[8] and Revolution with (Marcella Puppini) (2000)[9] The 2012 remixes of Revolution were released on Toolbox House in March 2012 with a launch party at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern in Vauxhall, South London. Remixes of Revolution by Nik Denton, 7th Heaven, Pagano and Dig it were released in May 2012.[10] Rich & Marcella have since followed up this success with "What Have You Done To Your Face? and "Hussy".
Rich B relaunched his record label, Enriched Records,[11] in 2012 and to date has scored numerous club hits - three with Marcella Puppini, and two with Tony Award winner Levi Kreis and one with scene star Chrissy Darling. Christmas 2013 saw the release of his first album "Enriched One" and 2015 brought the second, "Enriched Mixes Vol. 1 & 2", plus new material from Da'silva Gunn, Cool Like Daddy and, from NYC, Groove Addix ft Lady Bunny. In 2014 Rich B and Phil Marriott of Gaydio teamed up as studio partners and have since produced official remixes for RuPaul & Michelle Visage, Erasure, Dannii Minogue, Dave Aude & Jessica Sutta, Emin ft Nile Rodgers, Chaos ft CeCe Peniston and more.
